The approximately 600 m2 roof was renovated during the periodic building maintenance. The previously placed groove plate cover was worn out, aging over the years, so it had to be refurbished and replaced.

During the work, we fixed some of the faults of the roof frame, which were caused by previous soakings. We have built a new roof frame out of board for the roof structure, and then covered this with zinc coated roof sheet, which is widespread in public buildings and proven to be durable.

The construction of the new PVC troughs was included in the roof renovation. Their function is to collect and drain the rainwater.

We are proud of the fact that we have been working on the renovation of an iconic building as part of UNESCO's World Heriatage Site in Budapest. At the beginning of the work the gorgeous spectacle from the roof always made us forget the difficulties of the bitter cold autumn mornings.
